O’BRIEN:  Peacefully, but unexpectedly, at her summer home, in Grand Bend, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, Mary Eileen (Murphy) O’Brien of Grimsby, age 81.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Terrance O’Brien of Ashburn, Virginia, Laurie Ann and Craig Jenkins of Grimsby and James “Duke” O’Brien of London.  Cherished grandma of Mathew Jenkins, David and Ashley Jenkins, Taylor Shannon O’Brien, Dylan O’Brien. Great grandmother of Evelyn Jenkins. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Fred and Carol Murphy, Marlene and John Ferguson, Leo Murphy, Jimmy and Gail Murphy, Bobby and Gaetana Murphy, Paul Murphy. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families Predeceased by her parents Frank and Helen Murphy and by her brothers Clare, Danny and sister Carol Ann. At Mary’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Private Celebration of her Life will be held.  Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.  If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Canadian Red Cross Services or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
