Obituary of Petronella Wilhelmina Jones

JONES: Peacefully at The Village Seniors LTC, Hanover, on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, Petronella “Nelly” Wilhelmina (Jansen) Jones formally of Grand Bend, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Arnold      Sturt-Smith (2021) and Harold Jones (1979).  Loved mother and mother in-law of Patricia Stewart and Mark Keen of Ayton. David Jones and Amy of Stayner, Diane and Mario Santoli of Bolton, Wendy and Peter Kirk of Bracebridge and Trudy Moss of Mount Forest. Loved by her grandkids, great-grandkids and their families. Remembered also by Arnold’s son Glen Sturt-Smith and daughter Kathleen and John Jackson.  Predeceased  by her parents Cornelius and Petronella (Boone) Jansen and  brothers John  and Casey Jansen.  At Nelly’s request cremation will take place.  A Private Family Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Interment at the Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
